| Bill Cardille's Chiller Theater began on September 14th 1963. In the beginning, the show aired on Saturday afternoons as well as Sunday Nights. Bill Cardille was the off-screen booth announcer for the show. The show would eventually become one of the most popular local shows in the history of Pittsburgh television.
